The Pakistan Society was founded in 1951. The Patrons of the Society are HRH The Prince Philip Duke of Edinburgh and HE The President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. The current membership stands at 400 mostly British and Pakistani Nationals.
Based in London, The Pakistan Society is a respected bilateral society with its main aim being to increase public knowledge in Britain of the arts, history, antiquities and geography of Pakistan, as well as its economic life and political institutions through its regular programme of lectures, meetings and social events: an aim that remains as relevant as ever.
This website has been developed to give The Pakistan Society an online presence to enhance its ongoing work spanning over 50 years. In addition there is a wealth of information on Pakistan, with a range of features and services for members and those with an interest in Pakistan.
